This 16-bit transparent D-type latch is designed for1.65-V to 3.6-V VCC operation.The SN74ALVCH162373 is particularly suitable forimplementing buffer registers, I/O ports, bidirectionalbus drivers, and working registers. This device canlatch.be used as two 8-bitWhen the latch-enable (LE)the Qoutputs follow the data (D) inputs. When LE is takenlow, the Q outputs are latched at the levels set up atthe D inputs.latches or one 16-bitis high,inputthedriveA buffered output-enable (OE) input can be used toplace the eight outputs in either a normal logic state(high or low logic levels) or the high-impedance state.In the high-impedance state, the outputs neither loadnorThehigh-impedance state and the increased drive providethe capability to drive bus lines without need forinterface or pullup components. OE does not affectinternal operations ofthe latch.
