AM570x Sitara processors are Arm applicationsprocessors built to meet the intense processing needs of modern embedded products.

AM570x devices bring high processing performance through the maximum flexibility of afully integrated mixed processor solution. The devices also combine programmable video processingwith a highly integrated peripheral set.

Programmability is provided by a single-core Arm Cortex-A15 RISC CPU with ArmNeonextensions and TI C66x VLIW floating-point DSP cores. The Arm processor lets developers keepcontrol functions separate from vision algorithms programmed on the DSP and coprocessors, thusreducing the complexity of the system software.

Additionally, TI provides a complete set of development tools for the Arm and C66x DSP,including C compilers, a DSP assembly optimizer to simplify programming and scheduling, and adebugging interface for visibility into source code execution.

Cryptographic acceleration is available in all devices. All other supported securityfeatures, including support for secure boot, debug security and support for trusted executionenvironment are available on High-Security (HS) devices.
