The LT1371ISW negative adjustable regulators can deliver up to 1.5Amps of output current within a range of -1.2V to -37V. Linear Technology has implemented significant improvements in these regulators compared to earlier devices, enhancing aspects such as line and load regulation, and limiting the maximum output voltage error to 1%.

Special attention has been given to making these devices user-friendly and resistant to damage. Internal current and power limiting, along with genuine thermal limiting, act as safeguards, preventing damage caused by overloads or shorts, even if the regulator is not affixed to a heat sink.

To ensure maximum reliability, Linear Technology employs advanced processing techniques and subjects the regulators to a 100% burn-in in thermal limit mode. This guarantees the proper functioning of all device protection circuits, minimizing the occurrence of field failures often observed in other regulators that undergo only standard electrical testing.
